Teenagers today often face different kinds of pressure in their daily lives. The first main pressure comes from school. They have to study many subjects, do a lot of homework, and prepare for exams. School pressure can make teenagers lose interest in learning. Another kind of pressure comes from family. Parents usually want their children to study well and have a good future. Therefore, teenagers sometimes feel afraid of making mistakes or not meeting their parents' expectations. Finally, pressure from peers is also common among teenagers, especially at school. Many students compare their marks with their friends. When their friends get high marks, they may feel unhappy about their own results. They must study harder or get better marks to be as good as others.
Pressure is not always bad, but too much pressure can cause many mental problems. A small amount of pressure can help teenagers try harder and succeed. Teenagers should learn to relax, manage their time better, and talk to parents, teachers, or friends when they feel worried about their lives.
